Yvonne, with volunteers Glenys, Terese and Leka, recently attended the Royal North Shore Cancer Centre to launch the “Higher Education in Radiation Oncology” (HEIRO) program. HEIRO supports the ongoing education and professional development of Radiation Therapists, Cancer Nurses, and allied Health professionals who care for patients facing a serious cancer diagnosis. The aim is for leading Cancer Centres to follow Crestani Scholarship’s format programme.
Yvonne presented the Centre with an original piece of artwork by photographer Geoff Boorman to mark the occasion.
