The Volunteering Central Coast expo is usually held to coincide with National Volunteer Week and an important part of the event is recognition of individuals who devote their time, energy and enthusiasm as volunteers in the Central Coast Community through the VCC National Volunteer Week Central Coast Awards presentations. About 40 different organisations are represented and award categories include Volunteer of the year, Young Volunteer, Volunteer Team and ‘Living Legend’ Volunteer (10 or more years of service) as well as Excellence in Volunteer Managers and Corporate Volunteers for 2020.
Crestani Scholarship volunteers were finalists in both the ‘Team’ and ‘Volunteer of the Year’ 2021 awards presented at the ceremony on May 26th . Jean and Sarah Werk were also belatedly presented with their certificates as finalists in the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ 2020 category. We are delighted to have our efforts are recognised by the community in this way.
