MP Adam Crouch recently honoured our long-time volunteer, Glenys Jordan, in his Community Recognition Statement speech in Parliament. Adam with his assistant Jack Robinson generously took time out of their busy schedule to give us a tour of Sydney’s Parliament House and personally present Glenys with her certificate. Adam’s enthusiasm and passion for his role shone through as he guided us through the historic building.
Congratulations to Glenys on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to Adam Crouch for making the day so special.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Good evening. I rise today to acknowledge the invaluable volunteer contribution of Glenys Jordan, whose dedication to Crestani scholarships has been nothing short of extraordinary. Since joining the organization in 2017, beginning humbly by setting up chairs at a concert, Glenys has become a cornerstone of support. Her tireless work behind the scenes from managing spreadsheets and correspondents to assisting at countless events has been marked by efficiency, care, and unwavering commitment. Crestani Scholarships, founded by Yvonne Crestani in memory of her late husband Chris who was the Chief Radiation Therapist at St Vincent’s Hospital, exist to fund higher education for medical professionals improving outcomes for cancer patients. Glenys has been a tremendous support to Yvonne and the entire organization helping raise awareness and drive meaningful impact. Her passion, reliability, and compassion exemplify the spirit of volunteerism. Glenys has made a profound difference not only to the organization but to the lives of those it touches. It is a privilege to recognize her today in the New South Wales Parliament. Thank you, Glenys, for your extraordinary services and heart.
